Common names: Linden tree, Tilia, Linden, Basswood
The linden sapwood is the living part of the tree or bush and carries the sap which is located immediately beneath the bark. It contains tannins, phenolic acids and phloroglucinol. Its composition is actually quite complex. Especially indicated for liver and kidneys according to popular traditions and folklore. Linden Tree sapwood aids digestion in cases of bloating and stimulates the secretion of bile. Its ability to eliminate toxins makes it ideal in case of joint problems or cellulite.
Use & Special precautions

Preparation: 50 g sapwood of Linden per litre of water, 15 min decoction. Cool, filter and drink during the day. Cures of one to two weeks monthly.
Properties and beneficial combinations
- eliminates toxins: alternate with Ash tree.
- eliminates cellulite: apply locally with our Aromatic Anti-cellulite Complex.
- stimulates digestion: take after meals with a cup of Verbena, 3 to 5 leaves in a 5 min infusion.
