Symphytum, known under the common name Comfrey, was initially spread along the roads by pilgrims and today is widespread in our gardens.
It is a wonderful plant with multiple uses.
Thanks to its high natural Allantoin content it accelerates the healing and consolidation of fractures. Our ancestors held Comfrey in high esteem and used it often for this very purpose.
Unfortunately it is little used nowadays though it can be found everywhere.
Rich in calcium, potassium, phosphorus, iron and silica, the fresh and crushed root of Comfrey is very useful as a poultice to facilitate the healing of wounds.
In the macerate version we offer it has multiple healing effects as well as being an astringent and an emollient that contributes to tissue repair.
A useful solution for burns, bruises and cracked skin.
Comfrey in its ultra pure vegetable oil form is a maceration of organic Symphytum officinalis roots in organic virgin Sunflower oil to which we have added natural vitamin E.
Macerate obtained by a traditional extraction system using a first cold pressed mechanical process.
